Brady T. West

Brady West is a Research Associate Professor in the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor Institute for Social Research. He also serves as a statistical consultant on the Consulting for Statistics, Computing, and Analytics Research (CSCAR) team at the University of Michigan. West earned a Ph.D. in survey methodology from the University of Michigan Program in Survey Methodology (MPSM), and an M.A. in applied statistics from the University of Michigan Department of Statistics. His current research interests include interviewer effects, survey paradata, survey nonresponse, analysis of complex sample survey data, statistical software, and multilevel models for clustered and longitudinal data. West teaches a short course for the CSS Program titled “Analysis of Complex Sample Survey Data.”
