Should Journals Be Responsible for Reproducibility?
The Odum Institute Data Archive is featured in an article in Inside Higher Ed, which describes the Institute’s role in supporting the Replication & Verification Policy issued by the American Journal of Political Science. This policy is the most rigorous of its kind, requiring authors to submit data and code underlying their results to a designated repository to be independently verified. The Odum Institute has partnered with the AJPS to provide data curation and verification services to ensure that authors’ data and code are openly accessible and can be used to reproduce the findings published in the AJPS.
