Deborah Ferguson is the Systems Administrator at the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at UNC Chapel Hill supporting windows-based systems for the staff and labs of Odum. Deborah provides the hardware and software maintenance/troubleshooting on both training labs and the open lab machines encompassing 51 desktops as well as 25 staff work/home computers. She administers installation, update, and maintenance on over 50 software packages, as well as classroom technology support.

Deborah joined the Odum Institute in 2012 after working in the IT field for more than 15 years. Her education includes a Master of Arts in Education Specialist Instructional Technology and an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Social Work, both from East Carolina University.
