SUMMER COURSE SERIES

Qualitative Research Summer Intensive

To celebrate its 17th year, the Qualitative Research Summer Intensive (QRSI) is introducing 7 new courses and 2 new qualitative scholars. Consistent with advice from public health and university officials, ResearchTalk, Inc. and UNC’s Odum Institute will hold the 2020 Qualitative Research Summer Intensive as an online-only event. There will be no in-person component, and all courses will be offered online. Find out more on our QRSI page.

ICPSR Summer Program

In collaboration with the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), Odum hosts a variety of workshops as part of the ICPSR Summer Program each year. This program provides rigorous, hands-on training in statistical techniques, research methodologies, and data analysis, emphasizing the integration of methodological strategies with the theoretical and practical concerns that arise in research on substantive issues. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, all 2020 ICPSR Summer Programs will now all be held remotely and not onsite at Odum. Please visit the ICPSR website for a full listing of the ICPSR workshops to be held..
