This workshop builds on the Python Crash Courses: Basics foundation to introduce fundamental tools for working with tabular data in Python. We’ll cover Jupyter Notebooks and Markdown, Pandas, data visualization packages, and more!

Prerequisites:
This course assumes a general familiarity with object types, base Python data structures, file paths, and flow control (if statements & for-loops), as covered in “Python Crash Course: Basics”. Those interested in attending Basics and Intro to Data should register for both workshops.

Python Crash Courses: Intro to Data will be held from 1-2pm virtually via Zoom each Tuesday:

  • November 8
  • Additional course information:

    • This series will be offered via Zoom ONLY. Registration closes at least 24 hours before the start of the workshop.
    • Zoom link for this course will be sent prior to the course. Registration must be made at least 1 day prior to the course date to receive the Zoom link.
